Backup without options selected possible
Reported by Alex "Alexspeed" Bachner | December 15th, 2009 @ 09:00 AM
This is from Beta 2.2.3
You can untick all Save options, inclusive the Game settings, so
that NO option is ticked,
when you do that there is still a automatic Backup created, and you
can also create custom Backups in that fashion,
Those Backups show in the list and they can also be restored.
I am not sure what is actually saved in such an "empty" Backup, restoring it dosent bring back anything i could see.
Conclusion:
It shouldnt be possible to create "empty" Backups, its misleading,
confusing and serves no purpouse i could see.
I recommend that the minimal Backup save contents should allways
include the "Game Settings" Option.
This Option should be un-deselectable and peselected for any
Backups created whatsoever.
This applys to custom and automatic Backup Sessions. (and to the
Default Settings save option)
If i am overlooking anything with this please explain.
