1.8: Unhandled Exception Error when attempting to uninstall a mod
Reported by Celendis | December 5th, 2009 @ 09:25 PM
When uninstalling "DAO_PRC_PROMO_LKS", the error below appeared. This was attempted just after the program was launched. This is on Win7/x64. This is apparently affecting all uninstall attempts.

If it is still available, please attach your AddIns.xml file as it was at the time of the error.

I can't seem to reproduce this using your file :(

Would any other files be involved? Offers.xml perhaps? (attaching)

I am also receiving this same error when I try to unistall the official DLC. This same error also shows up when I try to unistall mods packaged by DAModder 1.7.2 (if that makes a difference).
Strange enough, if I try to uninstall a single mod that was from a dazip (advancedtactics within the addins.xml), I am able to uninstall the official DLC and those that were packaged within a dazip.

Forgot to add my addins.xml for you to test and see if you can reproduce.

Hmm its possible that files created by an earlier buggy version might be giving problems. I have to look into that. Advanced Tactics was one that was giving me a problem before.

Ok this is annoying. I can't reproduce it with your file either. Using both of your files, I am able to uninstall every AddIn in the list.
Going to have to do some more digging.

John, I don't know what you did, but 1.9.1 is not throwing any errors, and it is installing/uninstalling just fine. Good job fixing an unreproducible bug!
I'm down with marking this as resolved. :)
