Manifests without CDATA nodes cause XML failure during install
Reported by cansel isiksel | December 3rd, 2009 @ 04:21 AM
I had similar problems with 1.5 as with 1.4 and I decided to try something else. I uninstalled/reinstalled the game completely. Now I can go thru the install without interruption but after the program says that the mod has been installed successfully, nothing appears on the right side column and no xml has been modified.

I made backups of the Dragon age folder inside My Documents. I have a game that runs smoothly with all the mods loaded with DAupdater.exe.
Damodder doesnt let me install/uninstall anything at all. It creates this error:
Unhandled exception has occured in your application......
Token EndElement in state Error would result in an invalid XML document.See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.Exception Text System.InvalidOperationException: Token EndElement in state Error would result in an invalid XML document.

JIT Debugging To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.For example:
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
I am attaching the addins.xml file just in case.

On fresh install I installed official DLC's with Daupdater and I get a similar error like above. If I uninstall the DLC's with Damodder and then try to install a mod the condition I explained first (topmost) occurs and damodder says the mod installed succesfully, files are at addins folder but nothing inside the addins.xml file.

Ok i've finally been able to reproduce this bug. The screenshot you included told me what mod you were getting the problem with, so I grabbed that mod and got the same issue.
Looking into it now, but at a glance it looks like the Manifest for this mod is slightly different for some reason. Less data in it than normal.
