Dates on backup files display strange
Reported by John Vanderbeck | December 2nd, 2009 @ 12:43 PM | in Initial Release
The date shown in the UI for backup files seems incorrect.
I think this is an underlying problem with the information given by the OS, but needs to be looked into.

I noticed, since Beta_1_4, that the dates on the backups (new ones) are now "closer" to the date/time, but still off.
My bak.3 file was on the right date, but about 4 hours behind when it actually happened.
My bak.4 file was closer yet -- within an hour. -

I can confirm that the dates are off for me too with beta 1.4, around 4 hours and 10 minutes difference,

Dates on Beta 1.6 are looking much more precise for me,
differences between 4 and 1 minutes, not sure what could be the reason, but it reports not the time my comuter clock is running at. -

- Tag changed from backuprestore, ui to backuprestore, needs_testing, ui
The date issue appears fixed to me in the new backup system, as of Beta 1.8.
Please let me know.
